I took these photos of a TAA Vickers Viscount at Moorabbin Air Museum during Wings 2001.The aircraft has had all of its flight surfaces and vertical tailplane removed. According to Airliners in Australian Service Volume 2, this aircraft is actually VH-TVR 'John Murray' . It served from 1962 to 1970 and flew over 21000 hours. It was bought as a V.818 but converted to V.816 standard. There is also an excellent photo of a TAA Viscount wearing this scheme in the same book. Note that the blue cheatline shown here exhibits considerable fading in comparison to the aforementioned photo.
