HMAS Derwent

HMAS Derwent was the fourth of Australia's River Class Destroyer Escorts. It was laid down on 16 June 1958 at Williamstown Naval Dockyard, and was commissioned on April 30th 1964. Leo Groenendyk spent some time on board whilst she was docked at Port Melbourne on 6th November 1976, and took these photos.
