HMAS Melbourne

HMAS Melbourne was laid down on the 15th April 1943. She was launched on the 28 February 1945 and commisioned on the 28 October 1955. Her complement was 1335 including 347 Carrier Air Group Personnel. Leo Groenendyk took these photos whilst she was docked at Station Pier, Port Melbourne on 18th February 1977.
